Our Opportunity for you:

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with learning disabilities? Do you thrive in a supportive and compassionate environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Support Worker to join our dynamic team within the healthcare sector. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

Where you will work: Hillcrest Cottages:

Comprising six well-appointed one and two-bedroom cottages, Hillcrest Cottages provides a safe environment for adults who may find larger, mixed-use developments too challenging, but who need the support of 24-hour staffing. Generous space, both inside and around the property, along with the use of the neighbouring care home facilities, allows each service user greater independence and the opportunity to develop life skills.

Each house is disability-friendly, with step-free access and further personalisation can be made following an assessment of individual requirements. Residents have personal gardens in each home, as well as a kitchen, and living and dining rooms that are either private or shared with one other resident. The homes are also protected by modern security and safety technology.

The homes are located on Thimbleby Road, moments away from Horncastle’s high street, a mosaic of antique shops, galleries, and award-winning dining spots. Known for its vibrant weekly and monthly farmers’ markets, Horncastle is where history meets modernity. And, for the nature aficionados, the expansive Lincolnshire Wolds, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offer an undulating canvas of nature’s finest.
