The Opportunity as a Well-Being and Activities Coordinator
This role involves developing, organising, and overseeing programmes of activities and events for residents, supporting and enabling individuals to access social networks and maintain their hobbies and interests. You will be providing meaningful engagement in a person-centred way by creating and delivering activities that promote physical and mental well-being, whilst fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.

Duties as a Well-Being and Activities Coordinator:

  • Organise and plan activities that reflect the preferences and interests of residents

  • Work with residents to produce content for monthly newsletters and social media updates

  • Plan and coordinate in-house events, exercise sessions, and entertainment activities

  • Maintain full records of activities, review engagement, and gather feedback for improvement

  • Support with community integration by promoting social interaction

What You Will Need

  • A passionate, creative, and outgoing personality

  • A friendly, compassionate nature with a ‘can-do’ attitude and genuine interest in older people

  • Previous experience in a care setting or as an Activities Coordinator is beneficial but not essential

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient computer skills
